Commercial Sales Representative
Major Areas of Responsibility
- Develop leads and sales by creative solicitation, telemarketing, referrals from existing client lists, working lists of associations (some of which are members), working targeted lists (restaurants, hotels, food processors, grocery stores, warehouses and other large businesses) and networking to groups while attending meetings.
- Work out pricing options for commercial clients and prepare proposals.

Position Summary

- Demonstrates products and services to existing/potential customers and assists them in selecting those best suited to their needs

Position Summary
The primary function of the Accountant is to provide accurate, timely and prompt support for management and external users of the company’s financial data by processing information and data and to communicate results effectively and efficiently.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Assists with accounting functions in order to generate financial statements on a monthly, quarterly and yearly basis, including preparation of the balance sheet and income statement both consolidated and by profit center.
- Preparation and review of journal entries as they relate to month-end closing procedures.
- Analysis of major Balance Sheet accounts and prepares monthly reconciliation to the General Ledger.
- Prepares bi-weekly payroll, including management of payroll records, preparation and payment of applicable payroll taxes and any payment of any payroll deductions. Including preparation and reconciliation for year-end reporting to Sprague employees on W-2’s.
- Preparation of Multi-state tax and license reports, calculations/reconciliation, payments and reporting on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis.
- Oversee the Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable process, including billing, revenue recognition, and accrual of applicable expenses.
- Prepares billing for major clients on a monthly basis.

Position Summary
The primary function of the Branch Administrative Coordinator is to provide friendly, knowledgeable, and prompt support for internal and external customers by quickly and effectively addressing actual or potential problems and taking advantage of opportunities to exceed client expectations. To provide accurate, efficient and timely processing of information and data and to communicate effectively and efficiently.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Answer multi-line phone system in a timely, friendly, professional manner. Answers and screens incoming calls to ascertain nature of call and take appropriate action. Input service call notes into database, dispatch calls and respond and follow-up to requests.
- Compile new monthly service tickets; separates tickets by technician and distribute to service technicians. Assist in developing and distributing schedules for service technicians.
- Review daily paperwork from technicians for accuracy; record payroll time and production; record product sales. Maintain records.
- Match service tickets to daily paperwork, review service tickets for accuracy, resolve issues, input new tickets or accounts not in Pestpac system. Print batch report and distribute tickets, including mailing invoices to clients. Maintain records.
- Run open ticket report on monthly basis, determine reason for open ticket and resolve as needed.
- Process cash received for cash accounts.
- Input data into spreadsheets and databases, prepare and distribute periodic reports.
- Schedule service calls; including special instructions, information, or concerns that could impact technician and/or delivery of service. Contact clients by phone and/or mail to arrange service appointments.
- Track service dates for tri-annuals and schedule as needed.
- Coordinate fumigation certificates.
- Process cancellations.
- Monitor calls from Go to Desk.
- Log client complaints and follow up to ensure resolution. Listen empathetically to client complaints; accurately record details of complaints; ensure all complainants receive a response within time period specified by company and/or manager.
- Receive inquiries from prospective clients; perform appropriate paperwork/data entry about opportunity and forward to sales personnel.
- Accurately and efficiently set up and maintain new client records, including agreements, site setup and tree maps.
- Develop site plans using CAD software and update as needed. Provide support for log book maintenance.
- Perform collections on past due accounts. Maintain thorough and accurate notes on collection activities in client database. Create and distribute collections and aging report.
- Assist with obtaining price increases through providing reports and correspondence.
Field Personnel
Major Areas of Responsibility
- Controlling pests and weeds on-site in a variety of accounts.
- Physically inspecting a variety of residential structures to determine the presence of pests; calculating the severity of infestations and the degree of structural damage.
- Interfacing directly with homeowners, homebuyers and their agents regarding the work to be accomplished.
- Creating diagrams and graphs indicating the type, degree and location of infestations.
- Performing creative sales solicitations and providing estimates.
- Coordinating activities with the department secretaries and other branch personnel.
- Determining the costs, estimating the crew time and scheduling work.
- Receiving and properly accounting for company funds collected during the course of business activities.
- Submitting all paperwork and collections on a daily basis.

Position Summary
Manage a route providing pest control and inspection services to commercial and residential clients. Provide professional, friendly, cordial service to clients, work to build strong relationships and solve problems, and recommend actions to prevent future pest control problems.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Drive company vehicle to client sites to provide pest prevention services in a professional, safe, friendly and cordial manner. Build positive, strong relationships with clients.
- Locate, identify, destroy, control, and repel pests. Use knowledge of pests’ biology and habits, along with pest management techniques such as applying chemicals, setting traps, operating equipment, and modifying structures to alleviate pest problems.
- Work to exceed client expectations. Make suggestions to clients on how to avoid pest problems when appropriate. Report to client contact person before and after providing pest prevention services. Whenever possible, explain actual or potential problems to clients face-to-face. Manage clients through company provided technology.
- Set up, monitor and tear down equipment as needed for Heat Treatments.
- Involve others in solving client pest problems when solutions are unclear. Provide tactful, but straightforward and forthcoming communication to clients about pest problems and solutions.
- Follow up promptly when notified of the clients’ needs. Support increasing sales by working cooperatively with the sales department by completing lead cards for potential new clients or add-on services for existing clients and by talking to clients about products, equipment and new services.
- Respond cooperatively with requests for help from fellow employees.
- Work flexible schedule as required to meet client expectations, including weekend and evening. Manage schedule and route to find ways to include unscheduled events into daily route. Respond to client complaints as quickly as possible after receiving notification.
- Work in a safe manner by adhering to OSHA, state requirements, and company policies and procedures and maintaining and utilizing required safety equipment when providing pest management services. Maintain required manuals in company vehicle. Follow company guidelines when using tools, equipment, and materials.
- Maintain a clean company vehicle and comply with DOT and company guidelines. Operate vehicle safely and legally and according to company guidelines. Represent company by keeping vehicle clean and in good repair.
- Maintain proper inventory of tools, equipment, and materials in company vehicle.
- Communicate regularly with service center and managers. Complete paperwork and electronic reporting on PDA accurately, and timely. Provide information to Service Center as required, including synching PDA daily.
- Participate fully in training opportunities provided to enhance knowledge and to meet requirements for licensing.
- Seek out potential clients, build route density by finding new prospective clients and look for ways to add value to existing clients.
- Represent the company by wearing clean company uniform and appropriate footwear and maintaining personal hygiene.
- Periodic overnight travel may be required.
